FAQ

Q: How old must I be to drive?
A: Drivers must be at least 18 years of age, with a valid license, for all activities with the exception of M vehicles and Teen Driving School. For M vehicles, drivers must be at least 25 years old. Teen Driving School is for those driver 15-20 years of age with a valid permit or license. Permits and licenses will be checked on-site.

Q: Are there any limitations to how many times I can drive in the Autocross?
A: Drivers may only preregister for one (1) Autocross session per city. Once on-site, should space be available, drivers may request to participate in one (1) additional Autocross session for a total of two (2) Autocross drives per city.

Q: What time does my Autocross session begin?
A: Autocross sessions begin promptly at their designated start time. Please arrive at least 15 - 20 minutes prior to your session’s start time. If you arrive late, you run the risk of forfeiting your reservation. Additionally all participants must attend the 10 minute mandatory safety briefing at the beginning of the autocross session.

Q: Why can’t I preregister for Street Drives?
A: This activity is available on a first-come, first-served basis and runs continuously throughout each day. Drivers do not need to preregister for a track program to take part in this activity.

Q: What does it mean if I am wait-listed?
A: Signing up for the wait-list allows drivers to obtain driving spaces in the event that preregistered guests do not show up for their appointment. Similar to flying standby, wait-listed drivers must check in at registration at the assigned activity time and will be notified shortly thereafter if space is available.

Q: How much does it cost?
A: All programs are free of charge with the exception of the full-day Car Control Clinic, which costs $750.

Q: Can my family and friends ride in the car with me?
A: Companions of all ages may only ride along in the Street Drive program (please note that the installation of car seats is prohibited). Only registered drivers are permitted in the track activity vehicles but companions may sit at the track tent as spectators.
